The purpose of church staff

In my book, the pupose of the church staff is to help each member...

1.) Build a relationship with God

2.) ID his/her call from God

3.) Do that call 100%

Agree? Disagree? Other ideas?

I agree personally, but I think many church members treat the church as a social club and expect the staff to serve them, not enable them.

I expect that my church (not staff) is going to enable and care for me, so that I can reach my calling, and use my gifts. So while I don't expect a social club - I do expect personal relationships from members AND the church staff.

Contemporary: 10 a.m. Sunday morning @ the Woodmen campus - Family-oriented and informal with modern Christian music.
Koinonia: 10 a.m. Sunday morning @ the Woodmen campus - A powerful, interactive worship service geared towards youth and young adults.
