What Does Jesus Say About Your Eternity?

What a great Easter Weekend we had!  Magnificent music!  Wonderful worship!  There were even some folks in their Easter-Spring outfits!  (They were the brave ones!)  We celebrated the resurrection of Jesus and this week we are going to follow-up by starting to probe our own eternity.

Most of us are just working on making it to the end of the day or the end of the week!  We don't often pause to consider eternity!  But when we do that, we end up living like we are going to have eternity in this world!

But if we step back and look at the Bible, it's clear that's not the way things are.  In fact, I would be so bold as to suggest that all of us need to prepare for eternity!  We prepare for everything else.  We send our children to pre-school to prepare them for school.  We get ready for careers with years of training.  We work hard for that next promotion.  We even prepare for retirement!  So why not prepare for eternity!

This week, we'll start talking about "What Jesus Says About Your Eternity" and how we start to prepare for that.  But the first question to answer is "Do I Really Get Eternity?"  Once we've dealt with that, then we can go on with some other fascinating, life-changing, and eternity-changing questions!

So I'll see you this weekend in worship!

Grace and peace,

Marv
