Important Announcement:
As many of you are already aware, Sunday May 18 will be my last day on staff at Sunrise. After much thought and prayer, I have decided to resign my position as Director of Student Ministries because it is what is best for my family. Please keep me and my family in your prayers as I am not sure what is next. If you have any specific questions, please contact me directly. It has been a honor to work with so many wonderful students, parents, adults, and families during my time at Sunrise! Thank you.
Marcus Carlson

Help Needed-Students:
- We are in need of students to help with occasional projects around the office after school and during breaks. Please talk to Marcus if interested.
- We are always looking for more students to be a part of our worship teams, especially guitar and keyboard. If you are interested please contact Lucas using the information above.
Help Needed-Parents:
- We are always looking for more parents to help out in a variety of ways both with students and behind the scenes. Our current areas of high need are teachers (Walkabout, Bible Study, & Sunday School), phone calls and other office help, more leaders for Wednesday night programs (especially high school) and drivers & chaperones for special events and trips.
- We need more teachers for Walkabout and Saturday Night Bible study. Curriculum provided and teaching commitment is only once a month!
Please let Marcus know if you can help in any of these ways.
Devotional:
True belief, particularly belief in Jesus is not just an intellectual decision. It is also about your heart and understanding a need. It is about your will and your decisions to make Christ the center of your life. This week, go to Jesus in prayer and evaluate your belief.
