10-06-08 Sunrise E Letter
Dear Sunrise Friends,It has been a busy week in our church and in our nation! Regardless of your views on the outcome of the recent elections, remember that our mission as a church hasn't changed. God still loves us and calls us to share that love with others. God still cares for those in need and calls us to do the same. God's Spirit is still moving. God is still pouring out His blessings. We are still singing and praising God.
Come join us this weekend for our Celebration Weekend! We will be serving cake and coffee after each worship service to celebrate our stewardship campaign. If you have not yet had a chance to drop off your 2009 Offering Commitment card, this weekend would be a great chance to do that. We'll have a special gift waiting for you as you submit your card. We will Soar! together.
We'll also be observing Veteran's Day during all of our worship services. On Sunday at 9 & 10:30 am in the Sanctuary, the choir and orchestra will be performing a special tribute created and arranged just for Sunrise.
