3-19-2009 Sunrise E Letter

READY FOR A CHALLENGE? For the past several weeks, we have been talking about the Lord’s Prayer as a roadmap to a more authentic relationship with God and others. The topics have been pretty mild, but not this week! Are you ready for a challenge? A big challenge? We are going to talk about forgiveness. This has been a major part of religion from the very beginning. How do we re-establish our relationship with God after we have messed up? How do we forgive ourselves? How do we forgive other people? And is Jesus really serious when he says that we have to forgive others if God is going to forgive us? Think you are ready for this? Come this weekend and find out! See you in worship! Blessings, Marv Vose P. S. We got to give a yellow ribbon back to Chris Johnson, who just returned from a tour to Iraq. What a great celebration. And we plan to give back another yellow ribbon this week! I love to return yellow ribbons.
